After my last session up here with me changing my rig 3 times and then sailing for about half an hour I was hoping for something a little better, even though the forcast suggested 11knots at best! I thought what the hell its going to be sunny and some blasting on big rigs would be added bonus. Dave and I arrived around 11 and were greeted by sunshine and a constant force 3. We immediately rigged our 7.5s hoping that it would pick up and as soon as we were on the water it did just that, and we had some epic blasting across the bay in a steady force 4. For two hours it was just the two of us with about twenty kids in their lasers racing. After lunch it picked up to a nice 5 but we stuck to our 7.5s and left the water around 4.30 absolutely knackered. We took a risk but luckily it paid off. Had a great session.
